        This is the Semi-Official ASCII Version of the Lion King Script,
 originally cast into textual form by the legendary Phil "Leopold Stokowski"
 Pollard, of JMU, and re-edited several times into the form you see here by
 Brian Tiemann (FDCMuck Timon) of Caltech. This is your guarantee of
 quality, that what you see here on your screen is as close to what was
 presented in the movie as is humanly possible.                    -BT


Update note:

 On November 14, the script was updated to  V 3.30, to denote that 
the opening chants of "Circle of Life" are now in a canon format. I 
received direct from Lebo M. a transcription and translation of the 
lyrics (which are in Zulu and Xhosa). Enjoy!

Update note:

        As of V 3.07, which was made the day Brian got his "Rhythm of
 the Pride Lands" CD, the Zulu lyrics which are quoted here in the
 script and contain translations are known to be accurate in spelling
 (the other ones are still guesswork, unfortunately).           -BT
